Currently Watching
Ice Castles

Last night as my dad was scrolling through the Guide on our TV, we came upon A&E and there was all this 9/11 stuff. "Grounded on 9/11" "The Man Who Predicted 9/11" "Flight 93"  I asked outloud to myself "What is the deal with all the 9/11 stuff?" And this is when my dad responded, "It's the anniversary." Enough said.

So  this  Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday. My family is a real football oriented family. Most years I invite Matthew over for the Super Bowl and we watch it with TONS of food and LOTS of balloons. For no really good reason.  This year is special though because it's my mom's most favorite team in the entire world, Pittsburgh. Our neighbor is a nurse and when they were watching a play off game, she checked my mom's blood pressure. It was through the roof. Yeah....it's that big of a deal here.....

My uncle is coming over too of course. You know, the one who punches holes in the wall if he doesn't have his marijuana, with my hick aunt. It will be an interesting day.

When I felt in the depths of despair I heard "Held" on the radio. It made me feel better, and it made me realize that I'm not in control of everything in my life, and I shouldn't try to be. God will never give me anything that He and I can't handle.

Tomorrow is a very busy day. Silver Ball is tomorrow, DEC, then there's nails and hair. I have to do some homework, some cleaning, and some singing. It will be a good day tomorrow if all goes as planned. I hope Silver ball is fun. I'm eh excited.

Sometimes it sucks being in the minority.

Sunday I have a Voice Recital. Fun, fun. UIL is in about a week. Fun, fun.

Ok I think I've dragged this on about as far as it can go.

Goodbye.

So yesterday was my 3rd Friday to miss in a row. It sucks. Just when I thought I was all caught up from the previous Fridays....ah well. This one wasn't because of fun trips either, I got sick. BOO! I was running a 101 temperature and it eventually got up to 103 when I forgot to take my medicine, but I slept on and off all day and now I'm feeling mucho better. Note to friends: I was contagious with this crap for about one or two days until it hit me. You better start taking a butt load of vitamin c to try to save yourselves.

In English we're starting this research paper, and I have no idea what to do it over. The category is just too broad, and there's too many things to pick and choose from. Any ideas anyone?

WOAL was pretty fun. It was a lot better than what I was expecting. The nine hour long bus trip on the way down there was annoying, but my family group was cool. It was a positive experience.

Silver Ball is soon. I'm pretty excited. I also got nominated for a Junior's Who's who which is nice.

That's all for now.

Check out http://www.guessyournumber.com   this is really cool!

Quote of the day: Mrs. Henderson-"What is the mass of the earth?"

Brandon W.- "Earth doesn't have a mass. It floats."

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So I could go on about how this year is going to be a change of everything, more responsibilities, time to take on bigger problems, but nothing I write in here would do it justice. I have one more semester left until I'm a Senior. If I keep thinking of that, my Junior year is going to pass me up so I'm putting that off for another day. It goes by so fast.

My New Year's Eve was pretty wonderful. Anything beats staying at home and doing absolutely nothing. Hard Core Sliding was an adventure, and I'm glad I got to hang out with some of my favorite people aka Jeremiah and Jessi. Illuminati was an adventure as well, probably because it was a shock to most that we were there. We being Logan and I. Probably not as much of a shock with Logan as it was with me. Merri was amazing.

Going to school today besides the waking up early part was like I had never left. It surprised me. The teachers picked up from where they left off and didn't even seem like they gave us time to get settled back into routine. It was kind of nice though.

Leaving for Area on Friday.  I can't decide if I really want to go or if I'm pretending I want to go to not look bad and just be opptomistic. This year I'm not going to be crushed though because I'm already going in there knowing I won't get to sing. Wishful thinking last year. When you're not expecting anything you can't get hurt again. So that's that.

Currently Listening
The Everglow
By Mae
I love you

I'm in Arkansas right now. I'm at my grandma's house by myself because I did not want to go with her while she was giving blood. Not my thing. AT ALL.

So I've been searching for ipods, since I'm probably going to buy one. I'm trying to decide what's the best one to get.

I also searched for Mae sheet music so I can learn to play some of their songs after I got tired of listening to the CD and mimicing whatever they did. It was tedious work so I jumped on here to look for sheet music for it, but I ran into a problem. When I got on sheetmusicusa.com I realized that there were all of these comments from people wanting Mae sheet music too. There were like 40 people that were like "Hey I need We're So Far Away sheet music, and The Sun and the Moon. I'm willing to pay cash for them, I can't find them anywhere!" So I'm SOL. I also found out that they Mae hasn't even put sheet music out yet, but they will next year. Oh well.

I also want a digital camera with a printer. I think I'm going to ask for that for my birthday so I can have it before I leave for Boston.

Area is really close. Too bad I'm an alternate. SUCK!

I hung out with Joe, Gabe and Alex for awhile last night. I mostly just watched them amuse themselves by jumping over dirt, and holes and riding around in a cart down a hill and shooting their paint ball guns. Hmm.

I finally got My Best Friend's Wedding with my Hastings gift card yesterday. Yay. I LOVE that movie.

So I'm kind of bored just sitting around here. Maybe I should have gone with my grandma to give blood. Never. I'm sure I would puke.

So to take up my time, I'll share some Blogthings with you.
